Visit Avignon, from high-end transport to tourist circuits in the City of the Popes

Destinations – What is the specificity of your agency?
Camille Lieutaud:
Our enterprise Visit Avignon (by Cars Lieutaud), created in 1875, specialized in receptive tourism in 1980, the date of the arrival of the TGV and the transformation of our Palais des Papes into a Palais des Congrès.
Today, niche travel with strong themes makes the difference.
We offer top-of-the-range transport services, but also sightseeing tours aboard our small trains, CityTour in a double-decker convertible bus and – the latest arrival – our small-capacity convertible vehicle in order to discover our beautiful region of more intimate way. – What is your personal favorite in your region (tourist site, castle, museum, natural site, viewpoint, etc.)?
Camille Lieutaud:
In this season, I am thinking of lavender. At the foot of Mont Ventoux, after the magnificent gorges of the Nesque, we arrive on the highlands of Sault. Astonishment for all the senses guaranteed!
The smell, the color, the beauty of the sites, the food with its lamb and its cheeses … – Do you have a nugget or a secret address to reveal to us?
Camille Lieutaud:
My secret corner: Monieux, for its village square, its location at the foot of Mont Ventoux and the entrance to its gorges. But also its small lake, its secret chapels … – You are a partner of the initiative #Go to France. What do you think makes our country beautiful?
Camille Lieutaud:
The beauty of our country lies in the diversity of our landscapes.
In Provence, we are lucky to have the Alpilles, typical villages, lavender fields, pretty beaches not far away and so much more to discover.
