The largest airports in the world

After the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport in the USA did not come in at number 1 of the largest airports in the world in the last ranking in 2020 for the first time in 20 years, it was able to secure the title again in 2021. China’s Guangzhou-Bayoun Airport, which handled 40 million passengers last year, slipped from first to eighth place. Although that is more than the entire population of Poland, it is still only half as many as the number 1 in the USA, which has 75 million passengers ACI ranking leads.
