Le Boréal has resumed its Arctic Expedition cruises since Saturday July 18, 2020. First destination? Spitsbergen.
Ponant will then proceed to the North East Passage, Kamchatka and the Kuril Islands in the Russian Arctic.
Thus, until September, five routes are proposed, passing through the Bering Strait, the Chukotka, one of the most isolated areas in the world, Svalbard and its North-East nature reserve, the Kuril Islands or the passage from the North East.
In parallel, the company has set up a health protocol : 100% of people on board (passengers and crew) are screened and must perform a PCR test at most 72 hours before boarding.
Filtering and decontamination measures on boarding during a completely redesigned customer journey before, during and after the cruise are also planned.
