Overseas: departures may resume for vaccinated travelers, according to SETO

Following the reduction in containment measures in several overseas territories in Martinique, Guadeloupe, Réunion and Polynesia, SETO (Syndicat des Entreprises du Tour Operating), recommends to its members for these destinations the resumption of departures for travelers with a complete vaccination schedule.

For clients who do not have a complete vaccination schedule, the compelling reasons remain and SETO recommends that its members study with clients “case-by-case deferral solutions also taking into account the costs imposed by service providers.”

– For the Martinique : As of Monday, September 20, confinement is relaxed and it will be possible to travel within a radius of 10 km (the travel certificate remains in force). The 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. curfew remains in effect. From September 22, restaurants will be able to reopen on presentation of the health pass.
– For the Guadeloupe : As of September 22, confinement is relaxed and it will be possible to travel within a radius of 10 km (the travel certificate remains in force). The curfew is maintained from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. the restaurants are open on presentation of the health pass.
– For The meeting : As of Saturday, September 18, the confinement will be lifted and the travel restrictions will thus be permanently ended. The curfew from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. is maintained and the sanitary pass applies for access to restaurants.
– For the Polynesia : As of Monday, September 20, confinement is relaxed and is only maintained on weekends in the most populated islands. The 8:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. curfew remains in effect and the health pass applies for access to restaurants.
