Marriott International arrived at its property eight thousand with Marriott Bethesda Downtown at Marriott HQ, a hotel located in the chain’s new world headquarters. The hotel’s opening signifies both a growth milestone for the company and a highlight in Marriott’s history as the company celebrates its 95th anniversary.
The Marriott Bethesda Downtown consists of 12 floors adjacent to Marriott International’s new world headquarters in Bethesda, Maryland. The hotel is owned by The Bernstein Companies and managed by Marriott International.
“Marriott Bethesda Downtown at Marriott’s headquarters reflects the continued transformation of the Marriott Hotels brand, and we are thrilled to embark on a new era of travel and inspired design with the opening of this hotel,” said David Marriott, Director and incoming Chairman of the Board of Marriott International.
Renovated rooms and suites, with moderna and personalized touches, feature multifunctional furniture, technology-enabled work surfaces with built-in universal adapters and UCS cables, and rose gold tinted mirrors.
