Reopening of Fernando de Noronha
The Fernando de Noronha administration announced the protocols for reopening the island for all tourists (until now, only those who had had covid could board).
From October 10, to board Fernando de Noronha it will be necessary to present a negative result for a PCR test (that of a nose and throat swab) done the day before or the day of the trip.
You will also need to download the Dycovid – Dynamic Contact Tracing application, created at Porto Digital do Recife, which will monitor your movements around the island.
In addition, it will sign a term of commitment with the Health Surveillance of Fernando de Noronha.
But the protocol doesn’t stop there. On leaving the island, the visitor will take a new PCR test.
A positive result of the exit test will cause the Dycovid application to notify all people who have been exposed to the virus, in order to control any community contamination.
The application guarantees anonymity among all users.
As soon as we know more details, we will update the post.
