RioStar, AquaRio, Cristo Redentor and Pão de Açúcar with discount for cariocas

Discounted Rio de Janeiro Attractions

Christ the Redeemer, Sugarloaf Mountain, AquaRio and the RioStar Ferris Wheel, which reopen this Saturday, August 15th, joined together to launch the campaign Rediscover Rio, aimed at the Rio de Janeiro and Rio de Janeiro publics.

Until September 15 or 30 (depending on the attraction), Cariocas and Fluminenses by birth and residents of the state will have promotional prices to visit the 5 most sought-after attractions in Rio. All of them reopen with reduced capacity and social distancing protocols.

Discounted Christ the Redeemer is a rarity. But the lack of tourists caused by the pandemic made the two transport concessionaires nod to Rio de Janeiro and Rio de Janeiro. The Corcovado Train offers the Carioquinha Fare, at R $ 55. The vans of the Paineiras-Corcovado consortium, which also take you to Cristo, offer the CARIOCA coupon, which reduces the price to R $ 54.50.

At Pão de Açúcar, the ticket Carioca Maravilha gives 50% discount. The trip in Bondinho costs R $ 52.50.

The Rio Star ferris wheel has the ticket Redescubra o Rio, at R $ 49.

AquaRio, which will open with only 20% of the public capacity, will charge R $ 49.90.

In addition to the four large private attractions, there is also the Botanical Garden. The venerable carioca institution does not give a discount, because it is already very cheap: R $ 15. But it has limited visitation, by appointment only – it is the best oasis for the carioca looking for a safe experience of deflation.

Viaje na Viagem welcomes the union of Rio de Janeiro’s attractions and wishes this to be the embryo of a future Wonderful City Attractions Pass.
