It is a rather new action.
A solidarity pot has just been launched on Leetchi in order to support the incoming agency Horseback Mongolia and allow it to save jobs in a country which offers neither partial unemployment nor financial aid for companies.
“The pot will allow finance at least until May 2021 the salaries, invoices and monthly fees of the agency. With the hope that the country will reopen its doors for the summer of 2021“, specifies the agency in a press release.
It must be said that each summer, it supports more than 250 guides, drivers, cooks, travel advisers, as well as 150 nomadic host families spread over the whole of Mongolian territory.
€ 60,000 to support several incoming agencies
But the project goes further. Indeed, the founder of Horseback Mongolia, Sylvain Recouras, is also behind the creation in 2019 of the collective of local travel agencies Nomadays, which today brings together 60 local agencies around the world.
The sums collected during this solidarity fund are therefore also intended to help other local agencies of the collective, victims of Covid-19.
The objective is set at 60,000 euros.
“Thanks to their generosity, the participants will try to win a trip to Mongolia for 2 people and many other gifts during a competition and a raffle organized at the end of the campaign on December 31, 2020.“, indicates Nomadays in the press release.
With the support of partners in France, Nomadays will offer more than € 5,000 in gifts to donors wishing to participate in the competition:
1st draw (for people who have contributed € 80 or more): a 10-day trip to Mongolia for 2 people (value € 3,590). If the winner is already familiar with Mongolia, a trip to Kyrgyzstan or Cambodia will be offered.
2nd draw (for people who have contributed € 50 or more): a yak down blanket offered by Mes Chaussettes Mongoles (value € 300)
3rd draw (for all those who have contributed € 10 or more): more than 30 prizes offered by partners (value € 1,364).
