Can you tell us the ages of your children during this family trip to Normandy?
Sabrina and Jérôme, parents of 3-year-old flea and 2-year-old wolf, left 3 days and 2 nights in Normandy near Deauville with a small budget, the nights were offered to us.
We left at the end ofvril 2017
How did you prepare for this trip with your children?
We explained to them that we were leaving, I talked about what we would do there, that’s all they are still small
What means of transport did you use?
the car, around 4h30 without taking the highway
Where did you sleep in Normandy with your family? Do not hesitate to share your good addresses with us?
to campsite on the edge of deauville, good to sleep without more
What climate did you have during your family vacation in Normandy?
cold, sun and rain
What travel accessories or special equipment for the youngest do you use? (stroller, carrying backpack, others …)
What did you visit during this trip to Normandy with your child? How did you organize the days with your children?
We took our lunch break on Honfleur going down, then Deauville after putting things down at the campsite and doing a little tobogganing.
The next day we went to Mont Saint Michel, a little bit of road but we had the opportunity to show this place to the children so without hesitation, we made bubbles at the top of the ramparts and Trouville au return, then playground then last day before departure, playground (yes they are very early risers).
the cabourg market and then the cambremer aop festival where we could taste the specialties of the region and learn how to make Camembert. The children were passionate about this activity, a little coloring and we hit the road.
What is your best memory of this family trip to Normandy?
the Mont Saint Michel with its view on the abbey terrace (on the other hand € 10 entry, it’s expensive all the same, free under 18), make cheese (undoubtedly what my daughter preferred)
Which sites do you recommend to see or which activities must be done with the children?
the festival de l’aop if you are in the area at the time, a very nice atmosphere, lots of activities, entertainment, regional products and more.

What did you dislike (visit, way of traveling, atmosphere, etc.) and that it is better to avoid?
the parking prices up to € 2 per hour sometimes and cross Rouen by car
What precautions have you taken to visit Normandy, Calvados and Manche with children?
nothing at all, just doliprane in doubt and windproof
Do you have any advice for fellow travelers about a family trip to Normandy? (clothes, travel tips etc…).
Windbreaker useful in this period, provide change for the parking lot almost everywhere
How did you occupy the children during the trips? What kind of toy did they take for this trip?
books seek and find, soft toys, small dinosaurs, animals, characters, cars… it is they who have chosen.
What average budget per day did you spend during this stay in Normandy?
On n’a not paid for the nights and we took the home food (small budgets so we manage) so we only paid exits and car parks, around 40 € for the entire stay
Can you describe your itinerary / program for your trip?
we came back to the campsite in the evening and therefore in a star, no real itinerary
